Today I spent £102 on a few prints for my degree show (that won't even get marked)
Note to self/anyone wanting to take textiles: Make sure you’re a billionaire.
Why on earth did I choose one of the most expensive courses/career paths. I’m moving out next week, we have a flat sorted, and yeah, it’s pretty cheap but oh my lawd, I don’t even want to think about my ridiculous overdraft. I don’t even want to think about how much money I’ve spent/wasted these past three years (mainly final major project) or how much other people have spent. The worst part is we literally have no choice, we can’t not spend the money otherwise we get an awful mark. I don’t understand why art (textiles, fashion, architecture and such) courses don’t receive more loan. I could moan about this forever but I’ll stop here. Yay to student life! Pass me the wine.
